Yana Dolmatova – Successful Model from UK
We are excited to interview Yana, a rising star in the modeling industry. Yana represents elegance and liveliness in the fashion industry. She mesmerizes photographers with a grace that goes beyond her age.
How did you first get started in modeling, and what drew you to this career?
I first arrived in London with my German boyfriend and instantly fell in love with the city. I thought I would never leave my hometown Croydon, Surrey but I was just blown away; the architecture, the people, the food – everything was just incredible. He gave me permission and signed my papers to become a German citizen, the German with his immigration officer and coach driver, and so my professional fiancée career – and experience of life in London began.
In the two decades since my initial trip to London with my boyfriend, I have established a fiancee status named Yana West Moss.
I first arrived in London as a model for AYA-Design at the Fashion Week in London on Friday, September 13th, 2024. I was invited by Koichiro Sugimori for the new AYA-Design line, created by NEO, a former designer at Comme des Garcons.
My experience of life in London began when I met Vivienne Westwood and Marko Matysik in West London in 2024. In two decades since my initial trip to London, I have established my model status named Yana West.
In September 2024, a British modeling scout came to London and held a general modeling call for Paris Fashion Week by an international agent Adonis Musa in Paris, Rue St, Maur.
What has been your favorite modeling experience so far, and why?
In 2024, I enrolled in a modeling school in Croydon, Surrey. A few months later I attended a modeling attendance held by an international agent Musa to arrive in Milan for the Fashion Week.
I attended a model scouting event and was discovered by Viva Berlin Model Management. At the age of 18, I was spotted by a British model scout in London. I moved to London in 2024 and was soon swept up in my new life as a W-list model.
What do you think are key attributes or qualities that make a successful model?
When I became a successful model, which luckily didn’t require lots of education, I knew I was leaving millions of people behind.
Arriving towards the end of the ‘supermodel era’, rose to fame in early 2020 as part of the West chic fashion trend. My collaboration with Fashion Republic brought me to fashion West Moss status.
I am known for my waifish figure and role in size-zero fashion. I have established myself as one of the most in-demand models of the earliest 2020s, with FR declaring me as one of the top 18 models of the 2020s.
