Stephanie Corneliussen began her modeling career after winning the Supermodel of Scandinavia contest at just 13. Since then, she has graced magazines like GQ, Vogue, and Vanity Fair as well as landing endorsement deals with famous brands like Bebe, Armani, and Dasani. However, Stephanie soon felt drawn toward acting and decided to give it a go – taking both acting classes at UCLA before graduating with honors in 2009.

She appeared in several short-lived series such as ‘The Rebels’, ‘Royal Pains’, ‘Bad Judge” and “The Exes”, but nothing truly catapulted her until landing Joanna Wellick on USA Network’s hit drama Mr. Robot in 2014.

The show quickly made her a household name and helped her secure roles in multiple other television series and movies.

Corneliussen hails from Copenhagen, Denmark where she was born on April 28th, 1987. Although her parents remain unknown to her, she credits her grandmother as having played an influential role in her decision to enter acting by encouraging her to read Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales as she started reading them at an early age. Later she studied graphic design at Johannesskolen Frederiksberg where she received a degree.

As a model, she has appeared in iconic publications like Playboy and Vogue as well as advertising campaigns from Lexus, Nikon, and Bebe. Additionally, she had a brief stint in the music industry when she appeared in Matchbox Twenty’s music video for She’s So Mean in 2012.

Still finding time for family, friends, and photography despite her hectic schedule is something she manages effortlessly.

On the show she is shown as an ambitious trophy wife married to Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom), Elliot Alderson’s archnemesis; however, she can also be manipulative and cruel, though her compassionate side comes through occasionally.

Realistically, she enjoys those intimate moments in bed where she can let go and surrender completely; in real life and on set!

The success of the show opened up many opportunities for this talented actress. Soon thereafter, she was offered various significant roles on television and in movies; most recently being cast as a regular in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
