Mckenna Grace began acting when she was only young, making her debut on the Disney XD series Crash & Bernstein as Jasmine Bernstein in 2012. Mckenna Grace began acting when she was six, debuting in the Disney XD sitcom Crash & Bernstein before landing roles on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless as Faith Newman and many short films and TV series.
In 2013, she made her film debut in the post-apocalyptic movie Goodbye World and comedy horror flick Suburban Gothic, both of which received mixed to negative reviews. She played Jasmine Bernstein for 10 episodes before going on to work on other projects, such as Goodbye World 2013 apocalyptic movie and Annabelle Comes Home 2014 horror flicks. DeSoto will soon also make an appearance in the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House where she will portray Young Theodora Crain for 10 episodes.
