Mae Whitman’s Biography

Mae Whitman has been acting professionally since she was six years old, starting in commercials before landing a role opposite Meg Ryan in Meg Ryan’s 1996 movie When a Man Loves a Woman. Since then she has gone on to star in TV series like Fillmore! and CSI as well as numerous movies like One Fine Day, Hope Floats, and The Wild Thornberrys Movie; additionally she’s made numerous guest appearances on popular shows such as JAG, State of Grace and Desperate Housewives among many others.

Mae has also appeared in multiple TV movies, such as The Gingerbread Man (1998) and A Season for Miracles (1999). Additionally, she provided the voice for 10-year-old Maria in Disney’s Once Upon a Christmas (1996) production.
