Lucy Boynton

Lucy Boynton: British-American Actress

Lucy Boynton made her acting debut in 2006’s Miss Potter, playing young Beatrix Potter. Since then she has gone on to feature in several other movies like musical coming-of-age comedy-drama Sing Street, period drama Copperhead, and mystery thriller Murder on the Orient Express.

Boynton soon appeared in films such as Copperhead, Sing Street, and Murder on the Orient Express; most notably as Mary Austin in Bohemian Rhapsody: Queen biopic starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury (Marilyn Manson).

Lucy Boynton in Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody hits all of the marks for a rock biopic. A young rebel flees his strict home life by joining Queen (played by Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello, and Gwilym Lee). Soon enough, Queen becomes an international success; and Bohemian Rhapsody shows how creative force Freddie Mercury was at its core and the heartbeat behind this group of musicians.

It reveals how he was the only member to steadfastly stand up for what he believed in and resist pressure or expectations while being gifted and intelligent enough to think outside of the box. Unfortunately, however, it fails to present the story of his personal life or sexual preferences – none mention bisexuality or an encounter with German actress Barbara Valentin as such!

Rami Malek makes an excellent Freddie Mercury, charming and charismatic on-screen and performing an admirable portrayal of this complex and mysterious individual. However, this movie doesn’t quite meet expectations: some issues exist with plot, acting, and character development that keep him away from being his best self.

The script has many issues and often feels overlong. Some scenes seem unneeded and the supporting cast is weak; editing issues exist; some characters feel flat and one-dimensional – yet this movie was still an incredible box office success!

One reason for its immense popularity may be that this film provides a highly enjoyable viewing experience, providing an in-depth examination of an iconic band and showing how powerful music can be in changing lives and uplifting spirits.

Lucy Boynton, best known for her portrayal of Margaret Dashwood in the 2008 television adaptation of Jane Austens Sense and Sensibility, is also an accomplished film actress having appeared in movies such as The Darkest Hour (2011) and Don’t Knock Twice (2016). Additionally, she starred as Gypsy on the drama television series Gypsy as well as the Kenneth Branagh remake of Agatha Christies Murder on the Orient Express; moreover, she currently dates her Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Rami Malek whom she shares as co-star Rami Malek.

Sing Street

Conor Lawlor (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) embarks on a musical adventure to win over Raphina (Lucy Boynton). This musical film pays homage to the music that defined the 1980s while showing that many legendary bands started from nothing more than an idea and a guitar.

Although Sing Street may not have the same grandiosity as Once or Begin Again, it still manages to capture the power of music as a unifying force between people. Furthermore, it serves as a coming-of-age tale that reminds us all that dreams do come true and each individual brings something unique and valuable into this world.

Sing Street stands out from his earlier films with its polished production value and a heartwarming message about music’s ability to heal wounds, bring people together, and transform lives.

Before becoming an actress she attended Blackheath High School and James Allen’s Girls’ School before embarking on her acting career – currently, she can be seen starring on the Netflix series The Politician as well as being an accomplished singer-songwriter alongside Emma Louise who collaborated on a song called “Brown Shoes”, released onto iTunes by both sisters Emma Louise.

Lucy Boynton in Murder on the Orient Express

At first sight, an extravagant train journey quickly turns into a race against time to solve a murder on the legendary Orient Express. After being stopped by a snowdrift, passengers turn to mustachioed detective Hercule Poirot for assistance as the train has to stop abruptly due to snowdrift conditions; before long he interrogates all suspects and finds out who the killer is before they strike again. Based on Agatha Christie’s 1934 novel with eight suspects aboard and one train ride. With plenty of twists along the way, this stylish production keeps audiences guessing until its conclusion!

Lucy Boynton has made a name for herself as an actress in both film and television projects. She first made her debut as Miss Potter (2006) before portraying Mary Austin in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) which won critical acclaim as well as box office success. Gypsy (2017) stars her as an addict before taking on Apostle (2018) where she plays the daughter of a cult leader role.

Boynton has guest starred on many other television shows such as Sense and Sensibility, Modern Love, Borgia, and Law & Order UK series where she played Countess Helena Andrenyi in the 2017 TV adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express TV adaptation and also guest stars regularly on several TV shows like Sense and Sensibility Modern Love Borgia Law & Order.

The UK where she played her character of Countess Helena Andrenyi who she played alongside her co-star sister Borgia; finally, she played her character Countess Helena Andrenyi who she played alongside Queen’s Mary Austin; in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) she reprised her role from Bohemian Rhapsody to rave reviews as Mary Austin to great acclapyov/BOE 2018 adaptation!

Boynton has delighted audiences throughout her career by taking on roles ranging from Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter, Margaret Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility, and an archeologist in The Listerdale Mystery: Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? Additionally, she has made appearances in musicals and plays such as The Secret Garden, Woman in White, and Ipcress File.

Boynton has many diverse interests beyond acting. She enjoys reading and traveling. In addition, she wrote and illustrated a children’s book which has been published worldwide and received various awards. Additionally, Boynton is active in charity work; specifically with the Children’s Book Centre.

Though she keeps a busy schedule, she finds time for family. She is particularly close to Rami and often visits London. Additionally, she’s an avid movie lover – her list of favorites includes Drake Doremus’s Like Crazy and Hal Ashby’s Harold and Maude as well as Wes Anderson and Sofia Coppola movies.

Lucy Boynton’s Career

At once political satire and high-concept TV soap opera, this show takes on political satire with an edge of hysteria. At its center is Payton Hobart (Ben Platt), an ambitious adoptee running for class president of his suburban high school with grand ambitions of becoming president; Astrid (Lucy Boynton) provides her guidance while Skye (Rahne Jones) opposes him fiercely.

Glee meets The Politician with more scheming. At times, The Politician can border on mean-spirited humor and lack of empathy; yet Platt’s vivacious performance keeps the show grounded in reality; his unrivaled ambition conceals real vulnerability beneath his polished exterior.

The cast is its greatest strength. Filled with familiar faces that will have viewers nodding along, and features newcomers who prove surprisingly compelling such as young leads Jones and Platt who share a natural on-screen chemistry; she displays bright eyes and blunt delivery while he showcases his signature smile and unforced laughter to demonstrate they’re not fake characters.

Other cast members include Judith Light and Bette Midler, who deliver some of the season’s most powerful performances; as well as David Corenswet as River, Payton’s sincere but calculating rival in her campaign for student body election. Though sometimes comedic, Murphy has created something intriguing with this series that shows great promise for future seasons.

Lucy Boynton has made her mark across cinema and television, appearing in films such as Sense and Sensibility, Borgia and Gypsy, and Apostle. Additionally, she played Andrea Howe in the period horror film Apostle and Mary Austin from the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody – two roles which made an impression first impression for Lucy Boynton as she is currently appearing in Netflix drama The Breakdown.
