Kaitlin Olson was born August 18, 1975, in Portland, Oregon in the United States of America to Donald Lee Olson- a publisher who worked at The Portland Tribune- and Melinda Leora Olson- both publishers for The Portland Tribune. Kaitlin spent her childhood years growing up at her family farm near Tualatin in Oregon.

Tigard High School in Oregon was her starting point and after graduating she studied theatre arts at the University of Oregon – earning herself a Bachelor’s Degree. When graduating she moved to Los Angeles where she pursued acting professionally. Starting at The Groundlings (an improvisational theater), where she honed her comedic abilities.

After graduating, she made appearances in multiple television shows and movies such as Coyote Ugly in 2000. Additionally, she appeared as Becky on Curb Your Enthusiasm as well as Traylor for two seasons on The Drew Carey Show; guesting appearances included Out of Practice and Punk’d as well as staring in The Jamie Kennedy Experiment movie.

Kaitlin Olson is married to Rob McElhenney and is a mother to two children.
