Born and raised by her grandmother in The Bronx, Bryant received an academic scholarship to Yale University majoring in English before making the transition into fashion modeling for Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger while appearing in advertisements for Gap and Victoria’s Secret Lingerie Catalogues.

Bryant has not only achieved fame as an actor but is also a renowned gospel singer.
